A series of colour and material studies using unbranded products as the focus for each individual story. Using the working title of Insert Brand Here, Stylist and Art Director Anna Mackie concepted a series of 6 vignettes.

“Taking my aesthetic queue from the hero product I constructed environments using textural material combinations from my existing collection of set pieces.”

The Strobot lighting system allowed each story a motion aspect, further bringing to life each material world. Designed & developed by photographer David Wilman, Strobot gives the sense of time passing to an otherwise still photograph.

“Breathing life into stills, Strobot gives the notion of the passing of time. As the sun's shadows move around an object, so do those here. Adding a temporal narrative to the static image.”
